A game lasts about two hours and you get to meet and bowl with different bowlers all the time. |

Games are held twice a day, every day except Sunday. |

Tournaments are held throughout the year - if you want to participate in them. |

Numerous social parties are held all year long. |

Other activities are available, such as bridge groups, Mah Jongg and art classes. |

| The Mount Dora Lawn Bowling Club holds an OPEN HOUSE three times a year for prospective members (in March - prior to the Spring Class, in May - prior to the Summer Class and in October - prior to the Fall Class). The next Open House will be held Wednesday October 15, 2008 at 6:30 at the Clubhouse on Edgerton Court in Mt Dora. The open houses are generally held in the evening for anyone interested in learning about bowling and membership in the club.

The OPEN HOUSE session is divided into three sections: FIRST, an introduction to some of the officers and instructors who will be teaching lawn bowling the following week. SECOND, bowling on the lighted rinks with instructors. We ask that you wear flat soled shoes whenever you are on the rinks. THIRD, refreshments will be served in the clubhouse, you can meet and mingle with some of the club members, get answers to any questions you may have, and then determine if you want to begin lawn bowling classes starting the following Monday. |

1. Attend lawn bowling classes conducted by club instructors. |

| |

Classes are conducted throughout the year (Spring, Late Spring, Summer and Fall) |

Or, if you want to learn to bowl and join the club before a scheduled class is conducted, |
| |
you can receive individual tutoring. |

2. Join the club by paying a one-time initiation fee of $25 plus tax, plus pay the annual dues, which are pro-rated, based on when you join, for a total cost, including the initiation fee, of: |
