Spring Lighthouse

Mah Jongg is a game originally from China. At the Club we still play with tiles although there are playing cards available for the game. Originally it was a game exclusively for men but now both women and men play the game all over the world. At the Club, we play the official standard hands and rules of the National Mah Jongg League. Each person plays for himself and there are no partners in this game.

Sessions are at 1:00 PM and generally play lasts until 3:30. We play on Tuesdays from April 1st until December 31st. Due to a large number of bowling events occurring on Tuesdays in the winter months, we meet on Thursdays during January through March.

Lessons will be offered in January after all the members have returned. If there are several members who wish to learn the game; please contact us. We will try to work some lessons in for you during the regular playing time. For additional information, e-mail Carol.
